What's actually included in the $499 price?

All four components — condenser surge protector, new capacitor, hard start kit, and compressor time delay — plus professional installation by a licensed HomePros technician. $499 is the all-in price for the Storm Kit itself: no hidden labor fees, no trip charges, no surprise install costs. If our tech notices something unrelated while on-site that's worth flagging, we'll give you an honest heads-up — but there's zero obligation to do anything beyond the Storm Kit.

How is $499 different from your regular price?

Our normal price for the Storm Kit is $799. The $499 summer price is $300 off — our way of making it easier for SWFL homeowners to protect their AC before the worst storm weather arrives. Same parts, same install, same warranty.

How long does the install take?

Most installs take 60–90 minutes start to finish. We shut the system down, install all four components, test the system, verify operation, and you're back up and protected. Most customers are back to normal life within two hours of us arriving.

Will this work on my AC brand?

Yes. The Storm Kit is compatible with virtually all residential AC brands — Ruud, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, American Standard, York, and more. We'll confirm compatibility when you call. We've never had a system we couldn't fit.

What does the LIFETIME warranty actually cover?

For as long as you own your current AC system, if any Storm Kit part fails we'll replace it at no parts cost. This is a HomePros-exclusive warranty you won't get from most competitors. Note: warranty applies to the specific system we install it on — if you replace your AC or move the components, the warranty ends. Labor for warranty service calls may apply.

Do I need this if I have home insurance?

Most homeowner policies either exclude power-surge damage to AC systems or carry high deductibles ($1,000–$5,000). Even when covered, claims raise premiums and you lose AC comfort while waiting on adjusters. A $499 Storm Kit prevents the problem instead of reimbursing it later.

How quickly can you come out?

We offer same-day or next-day scheduling for most Storm Kit installs across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs, and Estero. Call (239) 860-1473 and we'll find a time that works.

What if my capacitor is already brand-new?

If your capacitor is genuinely new (within the last year) and testing within spec, we'll still replace it as part of the $499 kit — OR we can discuss a small discount. Just mention it when you call and our tech will verify on arrival.
