How long does duct cleaning take?
A thorough duct cleaning for an average-size home typically takes 4-6 hours. We don't rush—every duct gets individual attention. Companies that claim to do your whole house in 1-2 hours aren't actually cleaning your ducts properly.
Will duct cleaning make a mess in my home?
No. We contain all debris and clean up after ourselves. You might have some registers off temporarily during the process, but we leave your home cleaner than we found it.
How often should ducts be cleaned?
For most Southwest Florida homes, every 5-8 years is sufficient. However, if you've had renovations, bought an older home, have pets, or notice signs of dirty ducts (musty smells, black marks, excessive dust), you may need it sooner.
Do you use chemicals?
We use a professional-grade biocide sanitizing solution as the final step. This is safe, EPA-approved, and specifically designed for HVAC systems. It's applied after cleaning to kill mold and bacteria.
Why don't you use roto brushes like other companies?
Because roto brushes tear apart Florida's flexible ductwork and fiberboard materials. We see it all the time—homes with damaged ducts from aggressive rotary brush cleaning. Our Ram Air system is specifically designed to clean these materials safely without causing damage.
Can dirty ducts affect my health?
Yes. Dirty ducts can circulate allergens, mold spores, dust mites, pet dander, and other contaminants throughout your home. People with allergies, asthma, or respiratory issues often notice significant improvement after professional duct cleaning.
How do I know if my ducts are dirty?
Look for: black marks on ceilings around registers, musty odors when AC runs, visible dirt on registers, excessive dust in your home, allergy symptoms that worsen indoors, or if it's been more than 8 years since last cleaning.
Do you offer any guarantees?
Yes. We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with the cleanliness of your ductwork after our service, we'll make it right. We also provide before and after documentation so you can see the difference.
